Bouke Schuurmans appointed as CEO of U-center - Dual Leadership from May 1

As of March, Bouke Schuurmans has been appointed as the CEO of U-center. With his extensive expertise and leadership in the healthcare sector, he brings significant experience to the organization.

As a psychologist, business administrator, and experienced manager in Medical Specialist Rehabilitation and Mental Health Care, he possesses comprehensive knowledge of the sector and a strong vision for healthcare and organizational development. 

Dual Leadership  
Starting May 1, 2025, U-center will introduce a dual leadership structure, with Bouke Schuurmans and Rosy Ghijsens jointly leading the organization. Rosy Ghijsens will assume the role of Director Care. With here extensive experience as a manager and Care Director, combined with her background as a psychiatrist and psychotherapist, she brings essential expertise in healthcare management. 

With this new governance structure, U-center takes an important step in further developing the organization, ensuring both high-quality care and sustainable organizational development.
