Results

For us, for you, for everyone involved, it is of course important to know what the treatment effects are of the U-center trajectory. We are very interested in results, but also in scientific and theoretical substantiation. We are always learning, innovating and improving. So that we can always offer you the best and most sustainable help.

Effective treatment
For everyone involved it is of course important to know what the effects are of treatment at U-center. For this purpose, we compare the extent of complaints before and after our treatment programme. We do this by means of nationally validated questionnaires.

Treatment effective over the long-term
Naturally U-center also investigates how our clients maintain their recovery over the longer term. We continue to measure how our clients are progressing during the year after treatment. Clients complete the same questionnaires at fixed periods. In this way we gain insights into our clients’ progress for general complaints.

The graph shows the treatment results for 2019, from the initial evaluation (VM), immediately after the residential phase (TM), after the outpatient phase (NM), 4 months later (FU1), 8 months later (FU2) and 12 months later (FU3). During the residential phase, there is a sharp drop in symptoms, which (understandably) increases slightly during the outpatient phase when the skills learnt are put into practice at home. After that, improvement continues until the final evaluation, one year after the treatment at U-center.

Client satisfaction rating

In addition to the level of complaints, we also measure how happy our clients are on a scale from 0 (very unhappy) to 100 (very happy). At the start of the treatment our clients score an average of 17. Their happiness score continues to rise and one year after treatment is on average 62.

U-center also measures client satisfaction both numerically and in open comments at various moments. Clients give a rating to, among other things, the content of their treatment, their actual treatment, and our centre’s facilities. For the two different ratings, during 2017, our clients awarded us with x and y. Our management team discusses the open comments every week. We are happy to receive the useful suggestions that clients give us and that help us to constantly improve treatment at U-center even more.
