Use of cannabis
What is marijuana?
Cannabis, weed, or marijuana enhances your mood. It derives its name from the active ingredient THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) which is extracted from the resinous sap of the hemp plant. Depending on the part of the plant used, we refer to it as marijuana or hashish. Typically, these are smoked with tobacco in self-rolled cigarettes (joints). This is called "blowing." However, it can also be consumed (funny brownies / space cake) or ingested (hash oil).

When are you addicted to cannabis?
Weed is often seen as a light drug, and regular use of cannabis is generally accepted. Therefore, it can be difficult to determine when you are addicted to weed. However, when you use a lot of cannabis for a long period of time, it is possible to become addicted. In the long term, this can cause problems in your daily life and can be harmful to your health. If you feel like you can't function without cannabis, you may be addicted to it. Like other addictions, a cannabis addiction often comes at the expense of other things in your life, such as relationships, studies, or work.
